A young man has died from fatal head injuries after he was hit by a jetski while swimming off the south coast (UK).
Marine accident investigators were today probing the tragedy, which happened on Friday evening in the Solent.
It is believed the man, in his early 20s, was one of 12 friends who were aboard the yacht True Blue, which was moored off Osborne Bay on the Isle of Wight.
He was knocked unconscious by a jet ski that was launched from the yacht while playing in the water with another friend, who was also badly injured.
Both were hauled aboard the yacht as friends gave the young man CPR to try to revive him but were unsuccessful.
